Large bodies sunk to the bottom of oceans usually have amazing mysteries in them. It takes true passion and untiring effort to find those mysteries. After all, when something sinks in the ocean, it’s almost impossible to find it again. Even, Titanic, such a massive wreck took years to be located.
When the mysteries are uncovered, the usually become unbelievable findings. Here are some of those amazing things that the people discovered in the dark bottoms of the oceans.
1: A Prosthetic leg: found in the water by two men. The leg made everyone remember Wisconsin’s Mark Warner who lost his prosthetic leg while canoeing. The two men received $50 reward for their efforts.
2: Live Bombs: a 100-pound bomb was found in Lake Washington outside of Seattle which was still live. No one really knows how it got there.
3: The Millennium Falcon: discovered in the deep Baltic Sea between Finland and Sweden. The object was circular and was 200-foot long. Nobody really knows about it but it looks like some type of spaceship from Star Wars
4: A Lost body of a public servant: Tom Sublett, a commissioner of Glynn County, Georgia, was found dead at the bottom of a local lake on December 1, 2012. His body had a bullet hole in the head and his hands were bound. Yet his death was ruled as a suicide. Sublett had no history of the drug problem or any financial trouble. We may never know what happened to him.
5: Missing Vehicles: In 2013, two long-lost cars were found at the bottom of Foss Lake in Elk City, Oklahoma. The first car was a 1950s Chevrolet with three deceased teenagers who were never identified.

The other car was 1969 Camaro which went mission on November 20, 1970. The car contained bodies of three teenagers who’d gone missing exactly at the same time.
6: Strange Carvings: A team of archaeologists from Northwestern Michigan College discovered on the object at bottom of Lake Michigan in 1007 which is compared to Stonehenge.
7: Human Skeletons: Several Skeletons were found in the elevated lake of Himalayas in 1942. No one knew about it until 2004 when they traced back to year 850.
8: Ghost Town Artifacts: A small town of Bluffton, Texas has washed away during filling of Lake Buchanan. The relics of the town began to surface in 2011 including two-story hotel and many tombstones.
9: Mysterious Mound: Researchers found an unusual mound using sonar technology in 2003 in Israel’s Sea of Galilee. The 230 feet long and 32 feet high cone-shaped mound weighted 60,000 tons. The researchers predicted that it dates back between 2,000 and 12,000 years old.
10: Nuclear Bomb Material: The wreckage of a ferry used by Nazi scientists was discovered in the 1990s. It was used to secretly transport materials that helped in making the nuclear bomb. The ferry was sunk in Norway’s Lake by Allied soldiers in 1944.
11: Creepy Chair: An explorer claimed to have found a chair in the bottom of Pavilion Lake for NASA. The chair was standing upright despite being more than 115 feet underwater.
12: A Jesus’s Statue: An Italian family commissioned an 11-foot, 1800 pound Italian marble statue in the Lake Michigan in honor of their late son. After some time, the sculpture was damaged.
A local diving team bought the statue to renovate it so that it could serve as a memorial to deceased divers. Now, the statue has been a popular tourist spot and can be seen from the surface of the water.
13: An Airplane: An entire airplane was found in Lake Norman, North California in September 2013. There was no evidence of any plane crash. Upon looking, it was found that a local woman Barbara Anderson owned it. The flight instructors in 1974 forgot to lock the parking brake and the plane rolled into the lake and sunk
14: A creepy doll head: The head of an old toy doll was found in the bottom of a lake as claimed by a user of Reddit. It seems to be a normal deteriorated old toy but some people have been linking it to the more demonic origin.
15: Remains of a Human: A diver found the skeletal remains of two humans while exploring Cienega Springs, Arizona. The officials later found something fishy about them.
16: Prehistoric Fossil: On February 1, 2013, the researchers found the skeleton of something that looked like the famed Loch Ness Monster in Lake Labynkyr in Russia. No official picture was released which increased the mystery of the world.
The buried treasures are fascinating than another thing in the world. You may find a plane, a box full of gold or skeletons. They may not make you richer but they can change history.
